God Bless Texas!

Beaumont, BBQ, and Big Trucks!  I love the south and especially Texas.  Being back in Beaumont was a blast and I wish I could talk about the amazing people I encountered. You'll have to watch the show when this episode comes out....but I will tell you being out in the countryside was extremely therapeutic for me.  I loved the southern hospitality shown to us and working in a more "laid back" environment made each day a blessing.  When in Texas you see some of the most  random things: old bathtubs turned flower beds, goats walking down the street, and what I call a redneck board meeting (aka drive up in your 4 wheelers and talk in front of your trailer).  One afternoon we ate at Jenny's, this yummy fried food restaurant.  I had to take a picture of the sign since it's my nickname.  But my personal favorite:
PEAVY'S!  Peavy's is a great classic truck stop and in our search for a place to film that screamed Texas-it surely fit the bill.  I really enjoyed the nice weather on our lunch breaks and our friend Dixie the neighbors new puppy that would stop by and say hello.  Ahhhhhh Texas!  Amazing memories!  I'll be able to share so many more stories once the show airs!  Do you have a memory in Texas?
