Snowtastic in Baltimore

I love the East Coast!  I've always loved American history, and being in a town that's historic like this one has me in complete awe!  Not only is the architecture stunning but you'll find some of the most amazing restaurants.  If you ever make it here and want the best filet or NY Strip Steak go to Tersiguels on Main Street!  IT'S A FRENCH COUNTRY CULINARY GEM! Your experience with Charlie the waiter be delightful and every bite is a slice of heaven!  I'm not kidding!
On my day off the plan was to sightsee around DC (I haven't been back to this part of the country since I was 6 yrs old), and guess what???  Blizzard 2010 (snowmanic as I like to call it) came in!  BUMMER!  For 2 1/2 days we were stuck in our hotel rooms.  Luckily the locals kept warning us about the storm so the day before we journeyed to what was left of a grocery store and stocked up.  I spent more money on food in that one trip than I have in years and I'm so glad I did.  The only frame of reference I have to something this bad was my work trip to New Orleans after Katrina.  But at least the locals here have their house.  EVERYTHING has totally shut down.  It's crazy!  After 3 rounds of loosing Phase 10, and several movies later I NEEDED OUT! Mark, Brian and I headed outside and attempted to make a snowman but this type of snow doesn't stick...so while boys dug out the car I made a snow angel.

Late Sunday (SUPERBOWL) the highway had cleared and Mark and I b-lined for downtown Baltimore. 2 hours left of sunlight= rushing around in the cold to see what sights we could before the big game started.  Just about everything in town was closed therefore I've decided I'll come back again (Next time it won't be in the winter).  Currently we're snowed in (again) and the time alone has me reflecting on all my many blessings.  I truly miss my loved ones yet I'm  grateful to be doing what I love the most and working with the best road family anyone could ask for.  I'm sure I'll have more stories to tell soon...xoxoxox- JJ
